About Us
Meet the founder
Hi ladies, I am one of the main operators of Mymodle which I co-founded with my elder sister. Initially she set up first clothing store in 2016 just for selling clothes from other brands, it wasn't until about a year or so later when I graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design with a degree in Fashion Design that we started to plan a transition. We were going to recruit a group of designers to make our own original brand, so Mymodle was established. Because my grandmother often couldn't buy the clothes she wanted, we positioned our clothes mainly for mature women. Our aim is that beauty should not distinguish between ages, and we want to provide more choices about fashion for women who have a heart for beauty.
Soon the clothes our company designed were loved by many women, and in order to make it possible for more people to wear cost-effective clothes that fit them, we reconnected with excellent production factories, eliminating middlemen and the extra costs involved, allowing us to maintain high standards of quality and style while keeping our prices amazingly low. We take pride in selling cool, trendy, beautiful fashion that everyone can buy. We opened a number of new brick and mortar stores over about three years, which reaped great rewards thanks to our self-production and self-selling business model, while also fulfilling the original purpose of bringing beauty and fashion to everyone when we first started Mymodle.
But the good time did not last long, since January 2020, the COVID-19 spread almost globally, our clothing store was almost bankrupt due to the huge pressure on the capital chain caused by the accumulation of inventory, and the years of hard work we had put into it was almost wasted. In order to maintain our dream and livelihood, we decide to build an online women's clothing website with a broader range of products, covering almost everything from dresses, work shirts, sweaters and comfortable sports suits. In addition to making sure our customers look great, ethical production is a priority for us, especially in an over-saturated industry where companies will do whatever it takes to keep prices down. With years of retail experience, we've learned the best and worst ways to run a company. That's why Mymodle has made workers' rights and fair compensation a top priority. But that's not all. We also want to do our part in giving back. We have been donating a portion of our annual revenue in the past two years to the local government for the medical treatment of COVID-19 patients, in the sole hope that we can work together to eradicate COVID-19 soon and return to our former state of living without fear of disease!!!
